The Lady Eagles Badminton Team fall to Pinnacle 7-2.

The Lady Eagles played hard but lost to an experienced Pinnacle team 7-2.  Tristan Hanrath won her singles match 21-17, 21-18 and Bria Riggan won her singles match 21-18, 21-9.  Our #1 doubles team, Taylor Bertsch and Tristan Hanrath lost in a split 21-18, 15-21, 18-21 and our #2 also lost in a split 19-21,

Lady Eagles Badminton Team wins 8-1 against Skyline

The Lady Eagles played tough tonight, beating Skyline 8-1.  Winning their singles matches was:  Charity Mattingly 21-10, 21-16, Taylor Bertsch 21-15, 17-21, 21-18, Tristan Hanrath 19-21, 21-19, 21-11, Alexa Lewis 21-12, 21-11, Lindsey Chevalier 22-20,14-21, 21-13, Bria Riggan 21-14, 21-6.  Winning their doubles was:  Mattingly/Lewis 22-20, 21-10 and Chevalier/Riggan 21-14, 21-6.  Great job ladies!! Lady Eagles Badminton lose to Mt. Ridge

The Lady Eagles played well, but could not get the win against a tough Mt. Ridge team.   Charity Mattingly won her singles match which moved her to the number 6 singles in the State and Taylor Bertsch and Tristan Hanrath beat the number 3 doubles team to move them to 11th in State. Winning her

Lady Eagles Badminton loose to Chaparral 1-8

The Lady Eagles lost to a tough 4th ranked in state Chaparral.  Winning her singles match was Charity Mattingly 21-18, 21-15.  The Ladies will move on to the second part of the DVUSD Tournament tomorrow at Barry Goldwater High School.

Lady Badminton team wins against a tough Liberty Lions team 5-4

The ladies fought hard tonight against a tough Liberty Lions team.  It came down to our doubles to win the match.  It was a fun and stressful night but they pulled it off!! Winning their singles matches were:  Charity Mattingly 21-19, 21-11, Tristan Hanrath 21-15, 19-21, 21-10, Alexa Lewis 19-21, 21-19, 21-12.  Winning their doubles:

Single match scores:  Mattingly 21-9, 21-8, Bertsch 22-20, 21-16, Hanrath 21-13, 21-13, Lewis 21-12, 21-15, Chevalier 21-5, 19-21, 21-19, Riggan 21-19, 13-21, 21-17.  Doubles:  Bertsch/Hanrath 21-15, 21-3, Mattingly/Lewis 21-7, 21-16, Chevalier/Riggan 13-21, 21-17, 21-14.
